I received feedback today that a rider today swung out their arm with a closed fist whilst one of the Grades was overtaking the rider (who had been dropped from their Grade)

The person nearly connected with another rider in the passing grade – and it is fortunate that this is a discussion point on what could have gone wrong rather than dealing with someone on the ground waiting for an ambulance

This type of behaviour is unacceptable – there is no scenario that justifies the action by the rider

We are all subject to the AusCycling Code of Conduct

The rider in question has been identified. The Waratah Masters Cycling Club Management Committee will talk to the person and consider next steps
